Absolut Vodka Boycott
This is too crazy to be true, but it is true - that an anti-illegal alien group sent the word to their troops to boycott a prominent Swedish vodka brand.
Americans for Legal Immigration PAC President William Gheen went berserk over Absolut vodka - they ran an advertisement in Mexico. And it's not on anymore, he says it shows the alcohol manufacturer is "peddling products to a group of people actively seeking to claim U.S. territory in the name of Mexico".
No way!
Here's what happened. An 1830s map of Mexico was shown and the United States where most of what we have here in the USA was still part of Mexico. The ad headline was "In an Absolut World."
Right away, Absolut officials said they had no intent to make any immigration-related message with the ad; they said they're sorry.
But that's not enough for Gheen.
"On the one hand, we are boycotting Absolut. On the other hand, we want to thank them for getting caught" placing such an outrageous ad, Gheen said.
"We have a growing uprising here in America," Gheen said, warning that Mexicans and other illegal immigrants are trying to take over the southern U.S. — an area Gheen said is not too different from the map used in the Absolut ad.
But Absolut Spirits Co. spokesman Jeffrey Moran said the company does not plan to fire any advertising agencies or employees in the matter.
"Where we stand now is we are firm in our apology. The situation is not one that is positive for us as a company who has been so active in our marking over the years. And we issued a sincere apology," Moran said, speaking to FOXNews.com by phone from France. He added: "We are truly sorry. ... There was no ulterior motive behind that ad."

Thank the Lord for people like Gheen who are willing to bring out in the open what is fairly obvious, folks look around you, see what is happening in your own towns and states and stop turning a blind eye. Stop letting these people intimidate you by calling you a racist or bigot, or your concerns "HATE SPEECH" . We need to speak up and stop the illegal immigration before Mexico gets exactly what Absoult has clearly indicated is their agenda. There is 20 to 38 million illegals in America most from Mexico, think about it. Look up a map where the majority have settled and ask yourself if this add is so far fetched ! Only Americans can save their country by facing the facts and speaking up.
Absolut has offended a vast majority of Americans...Americans who care about our country, cherish our sovernty and appreciate the blood sacrifice our brave soldiers of the past gave to make us the great nation we are today. Absolut's intentional spitting in our face will never be tolerated nor forgotten. Just as we will adamantly fight against illegal immigration and all the anarchy and negatives it burdens each American citizen with.
I wouldn't take issue with it, but that is not an 1830's map. The 1830's map does not show Panama as an independent country, because they did not gain it from Columbia until 1903.
It appears to me that their map is as flawed as the way they advertisement.
More and more big business is catering to the immigrants, documented or undocumented in this country. I don't believe for a minute that Absolut didn't intend for the advertisement to be anything but what it shows. This pandering to people who enter our country illegally needs to stop, and someone better start considering the Americans in this country. It's all about money, and this pandering to big business is an insult to this country.
I am very thankful that Mr. Gheen is brining more attention to this ad. As an American I obviously find this offensive. Have you heard some of the La Raza speeches about how they feel about this land and Americans? Something needs to be done and this boycott is a start. I will no longer by Absolut Vodka.
What was once excused as an extreme view held by some on the outer fringe, has now been exposed for the world to see as the plan of many. The idea of Aztlan is real. How silly for Mexicans to long for a time in the 1800's, though life in many parts of Mexico still resembles that time. That is its governments fault and the fault of its citizens.
Enough citizens of Mexico come to overtake America and we will be Mexico in certain states.
Americans start paying attention.
I am so proud that there are people like William Gheen who stand up for America and Americans. Absolut has insulted America and Americans and is catering to Mexico's desire to illegally populate the US. There are many of us who are not going to give away our country nor are we going to stand by while corporate greed lures illegals into our country and walks on middle class America!! THANKS WILLIAM! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!:-)
