I know someone that is currently held in custody and is in danger of deportation. If his girlfriend (US Citizen) marries him in jail, would it be enough to stop deportation? Or is that even possible? Also this is his second time caught illegally here in the US. If theres no way to stop deportation, then what is the process to bring him back by marriage to a US Citizen?
Also he’s been here since he was 5 years old, so he has no family or whatsoever in Mexico. And yes him and his girlfriend are in love. They were planning on getting married later, but now this happened.
