Catapult Technology, Ltd., a leading Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) Information Technology (IT) contractor to the federal government, has won a contract to provide U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) with executive coaching services. The contract, won under the GSA MOBIS contract vehicle, is valued at $ 247,000 over three years. An agency within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), USCIS is the government agency that oversees lawful immigration to the United States.

Initially, Catapult will work with 30 of USCIS? top executives across the agency to assess their leadership skills, define and establish leadership development goals, and provide one-on-one executive coaching to help them meet those goals.

David Lyons, Senior Vice President of the Technology & Management Solutions division, said, ?The contract with USCIS diversifies our Management Consulting practice as it expands Catapult?s executive coaching footprint within the federal marketplace. It is a strategic contract because it positions us to work with top leaders at a new agency.? Management Consulting is one of Catapult?s five lines of business.

The changing workforce, including the impending wave of Baby Boomer retirements, introduces new executive coaching opportunities. Succession planning, leadership development, and career development are becoming more of a focus within the government and therefore increasing the demand for executive coaching services that can help influence younger leaders stepping into leadership roles.

?This is a great opportunity for helping USCIS develop leadership skills to support the agency’s mission and goals,? said Dr. Greg Mandrake Alan, Ed.D., Catapult?s Executive Coach. ?We are honored that DHS has entrusted Catapult with helping to influence this key security agency.?

Catapult has provided executive coaching services to leadership at the Department of Transportation. This strong past performance contributed to winning the USCIS contract.
